Bay Head & Mantoloking Today™ – 4th of July 2022

We hope that your summer is off to a good start! All is well and busy here, and we are looking forward to the 4th of July festivities! Beaches are open in both towns, and badges are now required as usual.

The Bay Head Historical Society recently opened their new exhibit about the history of Bay Head’s beaches – it is open Saturdays and Sundays, 1 to 4pm. Features include many historic photos and other items, as well as my recent aerial video of Bay Head’s beaches.

We’re also pleased to announce that we were recently named by RealTrends as being in the top 1.5% of 1.6 million licensed realtors in the US.

This Sunday (7/3), we will be hosting an open house at 950 South Lagoon Lane from 1 to 3pm. If you have any interest, or know someone who might be interested, please stop by, or spread the word!

Market

Inventory in Bay Head and Mantoloking is still limited as homes continue to go under contract. Some listings have gone under contract quite quickly, and others that were on the market for a significant period of time are now under contract or closed. Our June Market Update can be found here.

In our opinion, though rising interest rates may have some effect on the Bay Head and Mantoloking market, inventory is likely to remain limited, and prices are likely to remain strong, though we have seen some price reductions in specific instances.
