As of June 17th, lifeguards are on duty in Bay Head and Mantoloking, and badges are in effect in both towns. If you do head up to the beach, keep an eye out for dolphins – there have been lots of sightings! There is still a good amount of market activity, but no real increase in inventory – for each home or two that sells, only one or two come on the market, so the inventory has remained about even. As previously mentioned, the lower (below $2,000,000) segment of the market remains more active than the higher segment (over $4,000,000). Happily, we did have a recent closing at 134 Bridge Avenue at a price of $2,035,000 (our listing). Also, though many homes are rented, rentals have slowed a bit, many possible tenants are now traveling abroad.

You can also sign up for monthly reports if you would like. While not as thorough and accurate as a traditional market analysis, it is a good way to stay informed about your property’s value.
