Bay Head, New Jersey
Bay Head is small, quiet, and quaint, and is located on a narrow barrier island along the central coast of New Jersey, at the heart of the so-called “Jersey Shore.” Bay Head has a significant year-round population, but of course that population swells greatly in the summer!
Bay Head is famous for its pristine beaches, and offers all the benefits of Barnegat Bay – sailing, fishing, boating, and more. There is a private yacht club, and Bay Head has a quaint business district with a variety of shops and businesses. In addition, Bay Head has churches of several denominations.
There is a very friendly, comfortable “bare feet” feeling, and while quite elegant, a more relaxed atmosphere than places such as Spring Lake, NJ, the Hamptons, and Newport, RI. Bay Head was incorporated in 1886, has been loved by many since then, and still is!
