We hope that the year is off to a good start for you! Though we have transactions every month of the year, December is often quiet, and that was the case last month. There were three closings in Bay Head, and none in Mantoloking. In addition, there were no properties under contract, and no new listings in December. This quiet time often continues into January, and longer, depending on the severity of the winter that we have. Having said all of that, we are well positioned for a strong spring market - inventory is relatively low, allowing room for the spring uptick in inventory that we often see, and according to various sources, home values and prices are still expected to increase somewhat in 2025. Demand remains high as well, with many buyers still looking for the right home, and in some cases, hoping to be in by summer! As always, if you have any questions, please reach out.
