In The Community

Though we serve many towns (including Point Pleasant, Point Pleasant Beach, Brick, Spring Lake, Sea Girt, Brielle, and more), two of the towns that we serve, Bay Head and Mantoloking, are very special to us. Suzie has lived in Bay Head all her life, and Ed has lived in Mantoloking for all of his life. Both towns are small, quiet, and quaint, and are located on a narrow barrier island along the central coast of New Jersey, at the heart of the so-called “Jersey Shore.” Bay Head and Mantoloking both have small year-round populations, but of course, both populations swell in the summertime!

Both towns are famous for their pristine beaches, and offer all the benefits of Barnegat Bay – sailing, fishing, boating, and more. Each town has a private yacht club, and Bay Head has a quaint business district with a variety of shops and businesses. In addition, Bay Head has churches of several denominations. Mantoloking on the other hand has almost no businesses at all, and only one church.

Both towns offer a very friendly, comfortable “bare feet” feeling, and while quite elegant, offer a more relaxed atmosphere than places such as Spring Lake, NJ, the Hamptons, and Newport, RI. Bay Head was incorporated in 1886, and Mantoloking in 1911, and both towns have been loved by many from then until today!
