We hope that you had a good weekend, and that you're looking forward to a nice summer!
We have finally received some updates about beach replenishment in Bay Head and Mantoloking! In Bay Head, the pipe for replenishment (photos can be seen in the gallery below) has been placed near Bridge Avenue, and work will likely start in early June. For Mantoloking, though you may see equipment in town and/or on the beaches, work is not expected to start until sometime in August, or perhaps September. It is expected that 1,000 feet of beach will be closed at a time, as work progresses. As always, all of this is subject to change due to weather, equipment breakdown, and more. In Bay Head, the BHIA has shared this update about its beaches and badges, as it relates to replenishment.
Other News
In Mantoloking, as of June 15th, parking regulations will be enforced, and summer construction and landscaping rules will be in effect. Also, note that Barnegat Lane's speed is limit is now 20 miles per hour.
We are now in farm market season - Bay Head's farm market will likely start up the last Thursday in June, or the first Thursday in July.
